HARRY POTTER AZRIELI

Following the great success of the first Harry Potter pop-up, a decision was made to open a longer-term store and relocate it to Azrieli Mall. The goal was to create a fresh and exciting experience that would draw in new visitors, while also encouraging previous guests to return.

We designed a new layout that built on the previous store’s strengths, while adapting it to the structure and flow of the new space. For the visual design, we used the latest brand guidelines released in early 2024—making us the first team in the world to implement them. This allowed us to give the store a new and distinctive look, different from the original.

Although we reused many of the elements we created for the first pop-up, we had to make structural and visual adjustments and add new eye-catching features. As with the previous store, we worked in close collaboration with the franchisee and the local and international rights holders. After receiving approval for the 3D renderings, we moved on to execution plans and supervised the entire on-site installation.

The project was developed using Rhino, V-Ray, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

The biggest challenge in this project was the materials. While the original store was built to last only a short period, this store needed to be far more durable. We had to rethink and upgrade material choices to ensure long-term durability, while adapting existing components to meet the new standards.
